May Inspiration and Favourites

Hi lovelies!
Inspiration for this month would be very laid back, edgy sports luxe fashion with track pants and high cut shoes. Also, of course they have to be in black because I'm still obsessed with black clothing. Second inspiration would be Lily Collins! I went to watch the Mortal Instruments: City of Bones again just because I was kind of bored and now I'm stuck on that movie. (Don't judge me. I know it's not the best movie in the world but I like it so suck it.) I think Lily Collins is so pretty and such a style icon. She has such a classy look and I love her short hair, I'm probably going to cut mine just as short.

Current favourites would be ripped jeans, Divergent and Mortal Instruments. I'm currently reading Mortal Instruments: City of Bones so I'm excited to go through the whole series especially since the last book has just been released.

Met Gala 2014

The Met Gala 2014 was held a couple of days ago and I was just looking through some of the red carpet photos so here I am showing you some of the highlights. Also, some of my favourite red carpet looks.
For couples, my favourite would be Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady. I think both of them look so flawless and amazing. I think the Beckham's look good as well. I like David's suit but I'm not that crazy about Victoria's dress.
Battle of the supermodels, I have to say that Cara Delevingne is queen. I love her outfit so much, it's literally so perfect. Everything about this, her makeup, her hair and her outfit is flawless. Also, I loved Rosie's glamazon look.

I thought Kendall Jenner looked really cute and glamorous. I liked how she picked a Topshop dress (so did Jordan Dunn and Toni Garrn) instead of a high end brand dress but still making it look really good. Also, the mermaid tail made the dress look fresh and different from everyone else.
However, I would say that my favourites would be Cara Delevingne, Rihanna and Blake Lively.
What are some of your favourite outfits from the Met Gala 2014?

April Favourites

So a couple of things in my April favourites would be my Kurt Geiger sneaker wedges I bought in London and my Leigh Skinny Jeans from Topshop. I wished I actually like Topshop a lot more when I was in London because it would have been cheaper to buy these jeans there.

Also, my favourite songs in April would be:
Ellie Goulding - Beating Heart
Ariana Grande feat Iggy Azalea - Problem
Iggy Azalea - Just Askin'

Harry Potter

Weasley's Wizard Wheezus

I went to the Harry Potter Studios and got to try the famous Butterbeer which was pretty tasty. I really liked it. Also, I'm really thankful to be able to experience this. I thought it was very cool to be in an actual studio and to be able to see all the actual props and sets used in the movies.

Kensington Gardens

So one of the things I got to do in London was to hang out with my friends which was really nice especially since I haven't seen them in about 3 months. They brought me to a couple of places and one of them was Kensington Gardens. The park was pretty bare but I supposed it's because it was close to the end of winter and the leaves and flowers still haven't started blooming.

Royal Albert Hall and the Albert Memorial.

Top and Jeans - Zara, Jacket - sheinside.com, Necklace - Colette, Shoes - Styledasher
Pretty much wore black the entire time. You have no idea how good it felt to be able to wear black and not sweat at all.

New Wants

So this is my first attempt at making a collage on photoshop and I must say that I think it's pretty decent. I can make collages now too haha.

1. Black bag: I don't own a big, full black bag and I am on the hunt to find the perfect one though I don't think you can just stop at one. They're simple, easy to match, timeless and yet stylish. I'm trying to find one like the one in the picture because I really like how it's big but it's not obnoxiously big. I still can throw all my stuff in it.

2. Asymmetrical dress: I'm currently obsessed with the asymmetrical trend. I wasn't that into it but it has been growing on me now. I'm not even sure if it's still in trend but I really don't care. I just want to own one asymmetrical dress. It just makes the outfit look more interesting especially for a LBD. Plus, I saw the Jenner sisters wearing asymmetrical pieces and they looked amazing so I have to get it.

3. Boots: I actually wanted to buy a pair for my trip to London but I decided not to get the pair that I originally wanted because I probably would never wear it here. However I saw these on the same website and I am so obsessed. They are so perfect! They are not high cut, the heel isn't too high and they have a hint of leopard print on them. Now I'm just waiting for them to go on sale..

4. Supra: I saw these on Vydia Rishie's blog and thought these were bad ass. I normally don't like sneakers but these are pretty cool. I'm not sure if I'll actually get these though because I don't really think any of my clothes goes with it so we shall see.

Flannel

My very first candle from Bath and Body Works. I saw it a couple of weeks ago but was hesitating since I don't use candles at all. However I was at the store yesterday and my friend convinced me to get it because I've still been eyeing it. I just love the scent! It just smells really manly and cozy, makes me all warm and fuzzy on the inside.

CNY and Jap food dates

top: some store in Bugis, skirt: Missguided, necklace: Colette Hayman, sandals: Vince Camuto

top: H&M, shorts: Sheinside, clutch: Sportsgirl, shoes: Rubi, necklace: Colette Hayman

I had a good time during CNY, it was really nice to see my extended family. However they took a family picture when I wasn't there yet>:( oh well.

Been hanging out with Veronica lately too, so nice to see her after so long. We have been eating way too much Jap food and desserts, we probably need to stop and eat a different cuisine. Anyways, I'm sick now so let's hope I'm well by the weekend! I hate being sick.

Recent Haul

Hi lovelies!
These are just a few things from my recent mini haul. I actually bought Ocean Salt and the sandals in December but just never got around to post about it. I also bought a couple of tops but I think I'll do an outfit post of that instead.

Happy Chinese New Year everyone!
